TX2 points for year-end trophies and all TX2 payback are awarded only to TX2 members.

How does a race weekend work?
Racing is on Sunday. Saturday is a fun ride day, with a Poker Crawl and cornhole on Saturday evening.
- Kids: a single short moto, about 30 minutes.
- Adults: two motos for all levels, beginners to pros, about 30 to 35 minutes each.
The points series runs from September to June. The day-by-day schedule for each race is on its registration page and on the race flyer.
What safety gear do I need?
- Helmet: Snell approved with a Snell or D.O.T. sticker, D-ring strap fasteners only, no defects.
- Gloves, race pants, race jersey and boots.
- Shatter-resistant eye protection.
Gear must be worn any time you ride on the race course.
How old do you have to be?
Riders must be 4 years old or older as of the first day of the event. PRO riders must be 16. Age classes go by your age on June 1 of the year that ends the season.
My rider is under 18. What do we need?
A parent or legal guardian must sign the release form in person at registration. If a parent sends the child with a legal guardian instead, an AMA minor release form must be used, and it must be notarized to be valid.
What happens at registration?
Every rider signs the entry forms, waivers and releases in person, in front of the entry staff. Nobody can sign for anyone else, and photo ID may be required. You cannot ride anywhere on the property until you have registered.
Do I need a transponder?
Yes. All scoring is done with RFID transponders, and transponders are available for $10. The transponder must be on your vehicle during practice.
The scoring chute is marked with a yellow flag. Slow to walking pace through it, and do not pass in the chute.
What number plate colours do I need?
- PRO: Blue / White
- A class: Red / White
- B class: Yellow / Black
- C class: Black / White
The scoring side and the front plate must be readable at 50 ft while moving.
What are the pit rules?
- No pit riding, for kids or adults. Anyone play riding in the pits is disqualified without a refund.
- Ride to and from the track at first gear idle only, for your race only, wearing a helmet.
- Every pit needs a UL approved 5-lb ABC fire extinguisher, visible and easy to reach.
- Keep young children and pets out of the pit area. Pets must be on a leash.
- Gasoline is carried only in the machine's fuel tank.
- Clean up the pit area you use.
Can I see the course before the race?
Yes. The course is open for inspection on Friday, walking or bicycle only. Follow the marked course: when arrows are on both sides of the trail, ride between them.
How do points work?
Points run 25, 22, 20, 18, 16, then down by one to 1 point for 20th. To get a finish you must complete at least half the laps of your class winner.
Points go to members only. The championship counts your best results, with two dropped rounds at the end of the year. Disqualifications cannot be dropped.
Is alcohol allowed?
Not for racers. There is zero tolerance: no drinking in the pits, on the course or nearby before or during your race. A racer under the influence is disqualified, suspended from future events and must leave.
How do I protest a result?
In writing only, by text or email to the race director, with video. Protests without video are not reviewed. For Sunday races the deadline is 11:59 PM Tuesday. The rulebook lists what to include and where to send it.
Can I get a refund if I can't make it?
Registration fees are non-refundable. Any series credit is at the discretion of the race director.
